By using Carryline (Zyntec) you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Where these terms and Apple's agreement differ, Apple's agreement applies to your licence to use the app.
What Carryline is
Carryline draws a line that follows the ball's flight on your golf videos. On clear shots it finds the ball by itself; when it isn't confident, it asks you to tap the ball and the landing spot. You can adjust every line by hand.
The tracer is a visual illustration of the ball flight in your video. It is not a measurement: the app does not measure ball speed, spin, height or distance. Carry and total values shown on a shot card are the values you enter.
Free and Pro
The free version lets you trace and export shots in 1080p with a small watermark. Session mode can be tried once on the free version; the first 5 shots of that session are kept.
Pro removes the watermark and adds 4K export, all tracer styles, multi-shot overlays, session mode and batch export. Features may change as the app is updated; what Pro includes is always described on the purchase screen.
Subscriptions
Carryline Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (yearly at $39.99 or monthly at $5.99 in the US; local prices are shown in the App Store) and as a one-time lifetime purchase ($79.99 in the US).
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial for eligible users. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and is charged automatically. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or from Settings › Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policy (reportaproblem.apple.com).
The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered, on devices signed in with the same Apple Account. Restore it with Restore Purchases in the app.
When a subscription ends, your shots and exported clips are not deleted; Pro-only features are locked again.
Your videos
Your videos and exported clips belong to you and are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping copies of anything important (see the Privacy Policy on backups).
Only record and share people and places you are allowed to, and respect the rules of the course or range you film at.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, and don't try to get around purchase checks.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost videos, or decisions made on the basis of a tracer line. Your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Changes
These terms may be updated; significant changes are published on this page with a date.
